Why not? They're destroying all confidence in fiat. This is how they'll split the World in half. They've done it before when they put the US on the gold standard, and in the process confiscated everyone's gold. Someone has been pushing silver for years, what better way to take it all back? Then silver will be de-facto outlawed as a medium of exchange because "everyone was supposed to turn their silver in to help get the economy back on track, what are you a traitor?"
