I have no idea. Wonder if we got any actual car dudes here . Reason i'm thinking refurbishing the hybrid is because of the running gears/ etc already set up for the ice part of the vehicle transmission when the electric is not in operation, so in my very limited understanding - like you say is it possible and then is it profitable or just a complete nightmare/ money sink.
