This meme jumps the tracks for me at the point where one adjusts expectations to accept a perceived lower quality individual as a mate. Analytical skills obviously vary, but choosing a husband or wife you see as inferior seems unwise.
Is that just me? I mean, if your own self-perception is garbage, then there's room to marry-up. But if your rating is high, trolling the gutter for a life partner is kind of a yikes.
Maybe it's different for females?
Also, I had a female with some major defects I had glossed over, so this comment reflects my adjusted expectations.
