When I was talking about them, I was talking about the directors, not the actors. The actors are useful whores, the tell themselves they are doing this for a better future, but are doing it for simpler and less extreme desires. Wealth, drugs, sex, fame, etc. There are only two motivators in life, needs and desires. Desires are not always bad, but in this case they always are.
By and large we aren't dealing with evil people, it's people with a different sense of goodness.
Define evil, and you'll realize the actors are evil as well, just to a lesser extant.
Try to place yourself into their psychology.
I have, and if I was forced to do what they did as myself, I would just commit suicide to save myself the time and suffering, since the outcome would be the same regardless. To make this clear, I will never act against my own survival, so I do not say this lightly.
