I've got a marsh on my property and a stream that cuts through the bush and there's an active beaver pond about a mile away...I get everything on my property, beaver, muskrat, otter, mink and my favorite, pine martin, I've always had them here, one year the rat population exploded and the martin started hanging around the house and did they ever clean house, the wife took some good videos...martin are too big for the rat hole so they rip the fucking ground apart and within a minute or so they come up with that rat and they got it right by the throat.
