Anomalous Observation which I cannot search for online

Perhaps someone can shine some insight in this as I doubt it’s a topic that can be searched online:

Last year I noticed a local business in my city. It was a locally-owned restaurant in a bad location not visible from the street. However, I found marketing material for this place and it seemed legitimate. Very flashy but strangely soulless and generic. But professional nonetheless.

Eventually I paid a visit to this new place and was met by an all black staff. It was very strange to me because they were not very knowledgable on any of the food nor did they sound like the business owners. Surely, if these people owned this establishment, they would show some enthusiasm about the product.

What struck me was that generic yet sleek and professional aesthetic was all around the restaurant. It was evident that they must have outsourced all of the design work. While being a privately-owned ma and pa shop, everything about it felt corporate. Anyway, the food was awful and the worker was not knoweldgable on the product at all. The marketing material was top-notch. They even had LCD panels displaying the menu boards - yet no one their appeared to have any sort of talent for either marketing or technology. Again, must have all been outsourced. Was anything about this establishment original? Was any of it a part of someone’s passion project?

Within a year, this establishment was closed down.

Now there is a brand new establishment. A generic all-encompassing restaurant without any actual niche or theme sporting the same lifeless generic branding. It is a poor location again not visible from the road. Looking at photos and social media, it looks like all the comments are from the same few families of blacks. The comments sport pride in the store and the brand, but details about the food are lost completely.

Tell me, am I watching a racket of blacks, who have never managed or built a business from the ground up, getting approved for massive SBA loans and spending it all on generic restaurants and eating up payroll until they default?

I don’t even want to know how much they probably spent on brand new restaurant equipment when ALL of that stuff can be sourced cheaply used.
