To apply horror to such a death implies the victims are smart enough to understand what they've done to themselves. I've had enough divorced men confess to me that they saw enough red flags during courtship to know that the woman they were set to marry was a dangerous moron. They brought this catastrophe upon themselves and their households.
However, I'm also not entirely unsympathetic to what's been done to these retards though. The welfare state made it possible for morons to survive into adulthood and reproduce in a world they'd previously be eliminated from during childhood.
