If Jefferson Davis had any sense at all, he would have ordered all the slaves rounded up and pushed over the mason dixon Line the minute Lincoln illeagally delivered the emancipation declaration. At every point of hostilities they should have driven a wedge of niggers into the Union's lines. The Union would not have been able to take care of the niggers and waged or financed a war simoultaneously, the yankees would have gotten their fill of niggers. If he had done that the Confederacy would have won the war and the south would be such a fine place without niggers.
