Watched the George Floyd trial again. How the heck could they convict Derek Chauvin after this one-sided case? It very clearly should have been "not guilty".

I know.
Jury intimidation.
Biased selection.
Political circumstances.
Media bias.
Etc.

The verdict was decided before the trial even started.
Nobody wanted the riots to continue.
Everybody was scared their family would be threatened.
Everything outside of the evidence and circumstances of the case itself was against Chauvin.
The entire establishment wanted that guilty verdict, and they livestreamed the case just to rub it in everyone's face that an innocent man who was the least involved in Floyd's accidental death was going to be convicted to the maximum extent because the powerful and influential people in our society decided that it would be so.
A scapegoat, the sacrificial offering.
