Yeah, "opium" which is basically unrefined poppy sap. Modern opioid production doesn't even go through a sap harvesting process, they take the entire plant and distill the resins out of it. No monkey middle-men anymore, for at least the past 80 years. Its mainly farmed in NE Austrailia now. You can go look at the tens of thousands of hectares there, clearly on satellite imaging, especially in the spring flower.
