The fact that Matt's intuition tells him that someone wanting to preserve their own ethnic heritage and culture is more than likely doing so out of bigotry rather than a genuine love and preference for their own ancestry tells me more about Matt's worldview than the guy asking the question.
If I can't prefer me and mine under Matt's worldview, I don't share Matt's worldview. And if minorities on the left are encouraged to prefer them and theirs, while majorities on the right are discouraged from doing the same, the only outcome can be a shifting of morals and values towards those of the minorities on the left.
No thanks. I'll take no part in that. I'll retain my own morals and values. The ones shared by my ancestors.
