Conversation with a bugman on Chinese policy concerning Taiwan

This conversation occured when someone on a forum mentioned a tool and stated "and it's made in Taiwan!" The exclamation point drew some conversation. It's accepted that Taiwanese quality control is superior to Chinese goods. One forum member looked at the listing and buried in the description was a country of origin: China bullet point. The conversation turned political and an obvious bug man defending Chinese policy vis-a-vis Taiwan showed up. Below is my ongoing interaction with the bugman.

Quote from (ME) The Han that settled in Taiwan have been dilluted enough by Aborigines blood that they are no longer Chinese. They are about as much Chinese as a Vietnamese, Laotian, Thia, or Korean. The difference is that Taiwanese would not put melamine in Baby formula to make a few pennies extra (killing some babies in the end) and calculate how much shredded cardboard they can add to dumplings and not be detected. That is why a tool made in Taiwan carries more trust that something made in Mainland China.
(RESPONSE FROM BUGMAN)That dilution nonsense is beyond ridiculous. As far as crimes committed in China, those responsible are put to death or long term sentence. Quality wise, I am not saying anything against what is made in taiwan. However, if you have electronics devices, you probably should check where they are made of, especially for those expensive ones.

(QUOTE OF THE BUGMAN) China has thousands of years' history to show such reunification as inevitable already. What happens in Europe is not our business.
(MY RESPONSE) Bugmen are gonna bug, I am not that invested in it either way. I can say China generally stays out of other nation's internal affairs. But your government's treatment of Tibet, The Uygars, and your own people during Covid indicates Winnie the Pooh's true nature. As far as the punishment for the antisocial acts in food adultration like plastic rice and gutter oil, sure your government will punish and harvest the organs of the perpetrators. It's the idea of the mindset of your people's willingness to harm their own people for few pennies.

I heard a great saying regarding the difference between Japan and China. In Japan, there is "the way to do something." In China, there is "a way to do something."

The distinction is that, in Japan, there is an appropriate way to get something done, whereas, in China, any way that works to get the product done is acceptable.

E: Also, cool anecdote. It was a good read.
