They told him you're going to have to lay on the ground he agreed and then wouldn't stop fucking around. So they put a knee on his upper back which is normal perfectly safe procedure that doesn't cut off anyone's air.
The whole thing is a farce from beginning to end. He died of an overdose as evidenced plainly by the autopsy, he was on shitloads of drugs that he swallowed when the police arrived. He was dead that moment the rest of it was nothing but a nightmare for police to deal with. Following that was a media firestorm not unlike what they did to Trump for 5 years.
