The reason it looks fake, other than the color translation, is because of the stars. They spent 10 billion and made a dumbass camera that causes a flare. They could have easily built one that doesn't do this. Further, it impeeds their ability to see into space hurting the intended purpose.

Whoever was in charge doesn't need to be fired, they need to be shot dead. Their life was not worth what taxpayers paid to get this built. Not by a mile. Kill them all. Stupidity needs to be rooted out.
