Roaches have zero sense of personal space. If you yawn while looking up one will have no issue with dropping off the roof and straight into your mouth. If you lay down and sleep it might try to crawl in your mouth or nose. Uncommon but it can happen. The human reaction to things blocking the airway is to swallow it or cough. Roaches are also very happy to go in your food. They will crawl in your food if you dont see and stop them and they will drop from the roof too. Knowing you just accidentally swallowed a live roach is likely to make anyone panic. Peoples brains turn off when they panic and they do really stupid stuff.
Im going to treat this as real for a moment. The person isnt necessarily a retard too stupid to live. It could just be an unfortunate person who panicked way too much. That isnt the face of panic though so its likely just the result of needing to bring back natural selection.
