I put the dogs out back before going to bed so they can pee while I pee. I'm in the bathroom, looking at memes of course, and I hear barking. Fucking typical. So I finish up, go the the kitchen window, and see my young crazy dog is focused on something under the table outside, can't see what though from inside the house. When I go out to investigate, I see a gray blur move towards a little grove of tall skinny evergreens, which my dog is now trying, and failing, to climb. I hear a low "muuuurrrroowww".

I figure out where it is, get my extendo ladder, and after getting hissed and growled at for a while, and I notice it only has 3 legs (wtf), I eventually earn the cat's trust enough to pet it, then gently scoop it under the chest, and finally lift it out of the v-shaped crook where it had gotten itself stuck (ribcage on one side, hips on the other, only 3 legs though, so not really well equipped to free itself I guess). It of course tries to cling to every branch within reach on the way out, but I got it out without getting bitten or scratched, and snuck it under the fence before my other dumb old dog figured out what sort of tasty snack I was carrying.

Seems there's never a shortage of things to do around here.

No, I did not get a picture. Kind of wish I had, but when this type of thing happens, taking pictures rarely crosses my mind. My priority is always to just address the situation and, in a situation like this, help the animal asap. Whenever I see a video of some crazy shit happening, like one I saw today on this site of a nigger stealing a purse from some old lady, I always wonder, "who tf is this faggot who thought that recording this video was a better choice that stepping in to help address and resolve the situation that is unfolding right in front of them?"
