Jesus and Abraham's God are Jewish. The Christian religion is pure Jewish culture. It is a very nice religion with high ethic standards, but it is not an European religion.

In Christian theology, the appearance of Christ, the Messiah, is the fulfilling of the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. The Messiah has a specific job to get done (which Jesus did not), and the Messiah is not supposed to abrogate any commandments like the kashrut or the circumcision, which Jesus did, as this contradicts the eternity of the Torah (= Old Testament). But without the Old Testament, the New Testament does not make any sense.

The word Messiah literally means "Mashiach" in Hebrew, which is meant to be the saviour and liberator of the Jewish people exclusively.

As is known, orthodox Jews reject the idea of Jesus being the Messiah for various theological reasons, while Christians insist in that Jesus is the Messiah. But what is the point in non-jewish Europeans telling the Jews who is the real savior of the Jewish people?

For those believing that Jews and Christians worship different Gods: When you say "Hallelujah!" at church service, you effectively say "praise Yah!" in Hebrew, which is a short form for "praise Yahweh!", who is nothing else than Abraham's God.

If you are of non-jewish European descent and you feel that you need monotheism and Abraham's God, you may try Noahidism, which grants salvation to anyone following the seven laws of Noah. Noahidism may be perceived as bland by some, so you may try Islam, which is a full scale hardcore monotheism. Cat Stevens adopted Islam, btw.

This said, a connective element between Jews and Muslims is that they both know that Christians are worshipping a theological phantom and commiting idolatry from a strict orthodox point of view. Jews and Muslims understand the old texts very well as they were written in their native language and are part of their cultural heritage.

Finally: If you are of European descent, I suggest you go for germanic, celtic or pagan religion.
