The moral of the story is that words are to these ideologues simply tools for use in promoting the spread of their political belief system, they carry no other importance except for their utility in this specific purpose, thus any conversation with them is going to fail, as they are only interested in appearing to win the debate. They are trapped on a cult into which they were thoroughly brainwashed and indoctrinated, this cult is now their whole life, they have friends and family who are all devout believers, and they know that they'd be cast out by their whole social network if they were to leave the cult's beliefs behind, because that is what they would do if a loved one left, they do not believe as they do for rational reasons, they are only able to give reasons in order to make their irrational beliefs appear to outsiders as being based in rational foundation. The belief of the cult is their while all encompassing worldview, it informs everything in their lives, morality, history, how to live, how to know what is true or right, and so on. The entire identities of these people would be shattered if they ceased to beleive in the cult. Stop treating these people as if they have reasons to be believers in leftist bullshit.
