NISA jacking their prices after the current summer sale ends

Here's something you don't see every day. A company raising the base price of their older titles.

For example: Disgaea is currently 80% off on Steam from its base price of $14.99. But when the sale is over, the base price will be raised to $19.99.

That increase seems minor, but some games like Birthdays The Beginning is more than doubling in price from $9.99 to $19.99 and Phantom Brave is quadrupling in price from $4.99 to $19.99.

There's no reason listed as to why this is happening, but it is. The screenshot shows what the new prices will be for 15 titles and will be matching across Steam, Stadia, Microsoft Store and Epic Games.

Phantom Brave is quadrupling in price from $4.99 to $19.99.

$5 is shovelware pricing, that's why.
