Floyd would have OD’d regardless of where the knee was, and he did. However, police who are meant to protect and serve not rendering aid when someone was so clearly in need of help is disappointing. Could be that holding him down in any fashion contributed to his death, which I can understand. I didn’t follow the case too closely though. This decision, guilty on all charges, will most likely be overturned in part or whole. Chauvin isn’t innocent, but nor was Floyd. Both parties contributed to the situation in my opinion. What I find sad is so few people willing to acknowledge there is a lot of grey here; it’s not all or nothing. Part of me thinks this trial was just for show, to cower before the mob they cannot control, and later if thins cool off the appeal will be more in line with actual justice. Either way, the mob has spoken. We no longer live in a nation of laws. We have to find the marxists and destroy them or we are fucked.
