This time it's about skin colour. A person from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, or Nigeria would have the same problem in the northern hemisphere due to the amount of melanin in their skin. In the winter, there's no way the sunlight can penetrate their dark skin. This makes them susceptible to vitamin D deficiency.
People with dark skin who lives north of the equator will always be susceptible to seasonal colds and flues.
The best remedy for this would be to relocate them back to Africa where they belong.
