Yes, unfortunately it's true. You see Ireland was a conservative ethno-state on the fringe of European society up until the 90's, when EU globohomoism brought us "up to speed" so to speak, and for a lot of young people coming out of Catholic Ireland in the 80's and 90's, liberalism was a shiny new toy. Now people could smoke weed, listen to American rock music, not go to church, be openly gay and all this other "modern" bullshit that the rest of the West had already embraced.
So it's kind of new to Ireland and the younger generations have really taken it to heart. Now gay marriage is legal and so is abortion. When I was growing up they were not. When I was growing up there as a kid, the most exotic person you would meet was a continental European on occasion. Hell, I even remember when Poland joined the EU in 2007 and how strange it was suddenly seeing these Polish people in my country. They were so foreign and novel to me. Now, there are niggers born and raised in Ireland speaking with an Irish accent, who of course have absolutely zero connection to our ancient sports, music or language. It's disgusting. Not to mention our gay half-Indian taoiseach (prime minister)...
That said, with the rapid spread of liberalism in Ireland, we are now starting to see a bit of a pushback. The far right in Ireland is small but I hear stories and read (I don't live there anymore) and it seems like it's growing more and more each year, though I guess the same is for many places in the West. But yeah man, part of the reason I left Ireland was because at that time I felt myself being pulled more and more to the right, whereas my (mostly former) friends were all libtards or antifaggots.
