People need to understand that you don't just get to mob someone's car and expect it to stop. I don't know where these retards get off thinking that we ought to only consider the protestors. Having your vehicle surrounded by a bunch of shouting lunatics is a dangerous situation to be in. If you do this, you should just expect to be run over.
This is not like a situation where people are just laying in the road as protest. Some people will argue you can run those people over too (I think you've got a harder case in that context). But if a circle of screaming people envelops my car, I am afraid for myself and any occupant. If my kid is in the car, you're head is gonna pop under my tire, I fucking promise.
Nobody owes it to any of these protestors or their cause to tolerate being terrorized like this. You've now put someone in a dangerous situation, and they have every right to use whatever means are available to get to safety. It's your fault for putting someone behind the wheel of a vehicle in that situation, not theirs.
