When I was a kid my father would take us to the town he grew up in Northern Kentucky. Something in his voice would change when we'd go past the tiny old house he was raised in, I was too young to understand it back then. Now I realize it's that particular feeling you get when you go back home and it's still the same and completely different, the feeling of knowing you can't go all the way back. Anyway, this song reminds me of that.

Cool, didn’t know Sturgill did this one, Tyler Childers also has one on that album. I added both to my library.
Saw both artists recently, Tyler was awesome and Sturgill put on a good three hour nonstop show.
