To be fair it's big but not really that big. More of a warning that they have agents everywhere inside Russia and are able to sabotage key infrastructure at will should the time come. More important are water treatment, energy grid, major ports, toxic agents and major cities, etc.

I actually think Russia will double down on security and get hardened by this for the long term. They will build defenses against drones and maybe against hypersonic missiles with lasers or other. There's nothing like a civie attack to bring the people together. The slackers and zoomers don't have an excuse anymore. Putin is guaranteed power for as long as it takes.

Sure some planes were hit. More can be flown in from eastern airbases tomorrow and replaced. There is no war with Japan and no need for disbursement. And the planes were also from 1955. Big slow targets outdated for modern warfare. Carpet bomb? Putin would have done that already and did not. He's fighting methods are using step-stone attrition with minimal damage and casualties. And he's been winning for a long time. The Bridges are a problem for the next month or so but there were minimal train casualties despite best efforts.
