Also, a shameful way to take over the Husbands/ Father's assets when he inevitably dies on the front (esp lacking the time ability to get all those affairs in order after kidnapped off the street).
Presumably No major bread winner at home during this time - the lawful owner deceased - would seem like a lot of govt red tape to navigate to have possessions signed over to the surviving wife/ children - esp if the assets still had money owning - which would seem unlikely to be paid by a non- working widow and school aged children and esp if the Govt officials/ system were being difficult. Just Sad.
