The whole system was a sham 20 years ago. I cant imagine its any better now. 95% of the classes were useless drivel even in stem. Nonstop busywork and exams from the first week of each quarter until finals. Then do it all over again for 4 years. The few practical classes were too short to fit into a quarter. The good teachers could be counted on one hand. The only takeaway from the whole experience was learning how to teach myself everything I need to know. That helped a lot. Most people these days are blithering idiots who need to be spoonfed, and cant even digest a morsel.
