People were self diagnosing any illness they had in that span to covid. It was like being in the 'in club.'. So you can't really trust other people to say, except friends and family who you trust and if you ask the right questions. My brother for example, everyone knew he didn't have covid because he's an idiot who wanted to say he had covid. Adding to confusion globally were so many tests were false positives; so literally people with the flu thought they had covid. And theyd get over it in 4 days and then think they were tough shit or something. Then you had people who were so sure that they had covid they didn't need the test to tell them they were sick and should self isolate. Or, as in the case with my bro, he subconsciously didn't want to see that he didn't have covid. It all adds to the mystique and frustrarion, particularly people around here who sniffed out the bullshit a mile away but still don't understand the loose ends. They just say it was the flu. No. It wasn't the fucking flu, bro. As far as I experienced , the "Flu-like symptoms" was just a smokescreen. There was nothing flu-like about it.
