There wasn’t much to browse pre 2002. I would log on and scroll back to the previous day’s posts because there was a dearth of new content. 02-08 was the golden era. There wasn’t much to see in the early years. I have been online since 92. It was fun as a new frontier but there wasn’t much to do aside from BBS and IRC. It took 15 years for there to be enough traffic to justify daily content. Old internet was quality but very slow paced.
