When you search "average rent [my town]", what does rent.com say about housing costs in your area?

Avg. Rent Annual Change
Studio - $2,915 -3%
1 Bed - $3,632 +7%
2 Beds - $5,094 +28%

This is mine. There's no industry, and it's 'almost' like the main occupation is surfing and getting high. Wages are not high. Prices are, because some believe desirability is.

Average house price is $1.3 million, down from $1.6 a few years ago.

Was reading comments on a ZH 'gloom and doom' post by Snyder. Seems like tons of people have bought houses and trapped themselves in absurd ongoing costs. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/here-are-6-signs-housing-market-depression-us-getting-even-worse
