I'm actually amazed more ships aren't damaged by this crazy launchings that they do with those things having them slide down in an uncontrolled fashion on these weird rollers or whatever. It's just seems so stupid rather than lowering them slowly under control with some kind of crane or trolley system. I think they just do it for the show.
