Based upon the amount of aerosol flash, I suspect that the amount of particulate matter suspended in the air created conditions for what in demolitions is called a "dust initiator". (You can check YT for all the videos of exploding grain silos)
Would really like to know more of the actual technical details of the event.
For safety and educational purposes, of course.
So this sort of thing can be 'prevented' from ever happening again.
