Most religions are, just like covidism.

Dimwits see religions as truth because the philosophy resonates with the fundamental experiences in their lives. The more they follow the dogma, things usually get better. To a dimwit, 60% success rate is good enough to stay happy.

Average Joes see religion as not quite as important, they focus on what's in front of them and decide a life for themselves that is realistically within their grasp. Average joes are usually too busy improving their lives or enjoying life to bother with something he won't have an answer to until he's dead. Why bother?

Midwits are your typical leftist aethiestcel. They see the Higher IQ people focusing on the esoteric without bias and emotional attachment, without following dogma and perverts it. A midwit sees belief without dogma and interprets that as "God is bad because smart man no believe!". When in reality that is not always the case.

High IQ individuals are just that in their beliefs, individuals. There is no dogma because there is no core attachment. They know there is likely more than we can sense because they know there is plenty of real phenomenon in this universe already that we cannot detect. The high IQ may say God is dead, but the meaning behind it is lost to those who don't interact with the primary source. That's what keeps the High IQ person in check, they don't read others thoughts on a subject and leave the inquiry at that, they seek the primary source and draw their own conclusions from understanding.

The midwit gets his sources from others who tell him what the primary source says. The midwit only see the world through the bias of others. Midwits operate on secondary and tertiary sources. Imagine viewing the world from only the stories you heard from someone who heard it from someone else!

I guess my rambling is to ask you, which kind of "wit" do you want to be?
