He's part correct. Everything he said was true but what he left out was when the British went in they suppressed the conflicts amongst the locals and when they left it started up again. Same thing happened with the Soviet Union. After 1991 a lot of areas went back to business as usual and 20+ wars broke out in 1992. States like Yugoslavia was a cobbled together country that was unified at gunpoint. So was Ukraine.
