Good points. I normally cringe at "founding father" talk, but they did recognize one thing that we might as well just consider axiomatic: you get what you fuckin deserve.
The upper echelons don't get this corrupt without the lower levels being totally corrupted. And now, divided in two, everyone gets to hypocritically shout at the other side with their cellphones. Since the world wars, we've sold the farm and now everyone is crying because the new owners are tearing it down.
