Yeah i ran out of peradontix and used regular toothpaste for a few days. All of my teeth hurt. Got peradontix, pain went away.
Either peradontix is amazing or regular toothpaste is a gel jew.
But yeah one beer a night was startling enough. Very happy to be able to do it, but then comes the party. Now what. Sobriety brought me to the thing i was partying about.
The first night I had maybe two and a half beers and that gave me a pretty bad hangover. The stuff is poison. I also didn't enjoy feeling a little bit out of control while trying to talk to people
But then over the week and I kind of got used to having beer. It's really hot and I am in a hypersocial environment. This fuckin sucks. I haven't bought any beer yet so that's good. It's just stuff that's been around here and there. I'm not buying beer. That's all there is to it
If alcohol has an addictive effect on you then it is best to abstain.
I enjoy having one beer and I enjoy having 30 beers. I find alcohol highly addictive so I abstain.
How do we determine if a person is an alcoholic? Is it a gradient along how far the disease has manifested. Or perhaps it’s better to have a clean and cut acknowledgement that some people can take it or leave it - while some find it powerfully addictive. I find myself in the second group of people.
