Redneck red alert! Is anyone thinking of domestically produced fuel and lube filters for supply chain machines?

Your average semi truck, piece of heavy equipment, locomotive, etc needs a set of filters every year. My local parts guy said he thinks all the filters might be made in China. If true, you should take this seriously. Either invest in domestic infrastructure or rice and beans.

Edit: and they are screwing with the part numbers too. The fuel filter that sparked this conversation is very clearly wrong even though its the same part number.

Correct, it's a huge country with massively large cities. No one person traveling their lifetime would see it all I believe. First time we were assigned a CCP "handler" who accompanied us. Her gmail address worked inside the country, but was not accessible from outside when we returned to the US. 2nd time we came and went where we wanted, and wound up traveling to (former) Tibet, where chinese are near universally hated as they took over the country by force and call it China, not Tibet. Still have it occupied by troops.

However, I don't believe most of my fellow citizens can take a hit in the pocketbook, which is coming soon, without caving in and screaming publically in pain and anger.
