The problem is this: many of the people who reject mainstream narratives and turn on their pattern recognition are people with antisocial traits. Its a long discussion to describe why this is actually true— but disagreeable people tend to be the first to object to soft tyrannies. So an inordinately high number of users here are in fact “cluter B” personalities. Asking them to be better and less petty is like asking a fish to fly. They can’t do it .
