Wall Street (1987) Vs Wall Street:2 (2010) My thoughts.
Long story short.
Oliver Stone is a good director. The movie is not boring. All actors are charismatic. But the plot is simplistic. It's about trying to save just one company from bankruptcy. It happens every day in Wall Street. Interesting only for the completely clueless about the real Wall Street corruption.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094291/The second movie has no charismatic actors, making it boring to watch. But the plot is more elaborate, showing how Wall Street completely controls society, also people dying easily, like it's nothing exceptional. Also Jewish control.
