No, I do not fault for the Boomer for the propoganda, but I do fault them when presented with the evidence that they have been lied to, that their moral compass has had a hooked-nose magnet slapped on the back of it the whole time.
I fault the boomer for being presented proof that they have been lied tp and refusing to renounce the lie to save face. They are the proverbial supervisor that never fucked up a customer order even though you have the paper trail and the video evidence to prove otherwise.
The Boomer Ego will spell their own demise as it will prevent the Boomer from course-correction, and the veil disguising this vulnerability being a defense of "be respectful of other opinions" is asanine and comparable to newspeak.
It is worth noting that while we are talking about a stereotyoe of a cliche Boomer, stereotypes exist for a reason, and it is from my experience that this stereotype is Ultimately due to the Weak Character of that generation, brought about by generations of propoganda. You may be able to argue that it is unreasonable to expect a Weakened Character to detach themselves from lifelong beliefs upon presenting new evidence, as they are Weak in Character and full of pride, but that is upon the Individual to choose that path, just as the individual chooses to value the propoganda. No one is incapable of improving their Moral Character, or else you wouldn't see so many posters here giving up alcohol after XX years of drinking.
