If the cryptographic key used to encrypt your data was not A) generated locally on hardware that only you own and control and B) held solely by you, then it is not effectively encrypted.

This part is only possible because Apple users failed condition B described above. Apple "ADP", Microsoft SHITlocker and basically all other big tech "encryption" schemes make both the user and the vendor holder of the keys. Vendor == LEA, big gov, ad tech and other adversaries. Fail.
