It feels unfair trying to compare ivermectin to a lot of stuff- simply because it's so absurdly effective at so many different things. It's not very common you find a drug that is so effective while having so little side effects.
That's why the medical industry doesn't want it to be easily available. They don't make money by curing people, they make money by turning people into lifelong patients (aka consumers) that are dependent on the medical industry. Why allow a cure for cancer to be available cheaply when you could be charging those same patients obscene amounts of money for cancer treatments that are not only ineffective, but extremely destructive.
