It reminds me of boomer talk. You guys just can't face the reality that you're old now and your generation like the boomers, allowed all of this shit to happen. Probably because you received no parenting since "our parents never knew where we were. So badass". Basically you all had shitty parents who didn't care if you got raped or kidnapped. It wasnt a tough life lesson to make you stronger, they just didn't want you or care about you. Your mother's were too concerned with being a strong woman in a man's world at the office.
BTW we had candy cigarettes as a kid in the 90s early 2000s. I'm sure it's still available too.
