I came back from church yesterday and was moderately impressed by the pastor. For once a guest speaker actually was highlighting the hypocrisy of the church being guided by modern world morals, vs Biblical ones. But then he messed it all up by lumping "systemic racism" alongside all the other problems. It's like they take one step forward and two steps back.
This made me think to all those Christian (jews cosplaying) groups and how those groups have tried to normalize criminal activity as Godly. Smuggle humans and get them fake visas? God approved! Trying to stop your enemy from murdering you for existing? Well the law says no self defense, so die like a good goy. And people actually believe this shit and think this is normal.
Why bother to hold criminals to account. Just have God "judge" them, and continue doing fuck all! Way more convenient. There was a story years ago of that one idiot whose husband was murdered by a coon. Then the wife went on some speaking tour with the murderer. My guess is she was fucking the nigger or something. But still, how in the fuck is that Godly?! Forsake your husband by siding with the murderer.
the congregants have this idea that self defense of any kind, for any reason is wrong
A big thing to weed out is whether they are just presenting an opinion or whether they are claiming it is part of Christian doctrine.
For starters, it isn't part of Christian doctrine, and claiming otherwise is false.
We live in a strange time with many soft people. And by soft, I mean the type of hypocrites that would freely eat meat but not have the required nerve to kill a meat animal.
Or partake of crops but feel bad about killing pests that would destroy crops. To take freely from the fruits of the farmer's labour but hypocritically criticize the required actions of that labour.
This type of anti-action ideology is in the same category of belief that the fruits of society (law, order, peace, prosperity) ought exist but somehow without the prerequisite maintenance of functions necessary for sustaining society. This is including self-defense and proactively answering to the threat of adversarial forces.
A child asks why meat can't just magically appear on the dinner plate, and why a cow must die. It's childish. And so too is the wholesale rejection of self defense.
