Weird snow won't melt even after it's way over 32 degrees. I have seen it snow here almost every winter. The snow would insta melt once it met pool water that wasn't frozen. But at 35 degrees this snow just turned my pool into a slushy. Refuses to melt during the day when it's over 32 degrees too.
FYI: it takes a lot of energy to phase change, so the slush is slowly melting but as it does it pulls the energy out of the water, cooling it significantly (locally). If you are worried about it, run some pumps to agitate the water.
