One of the biggest studies that 'prove' vaccines don't cause autism which was constantly touted by the media, was the Danish autism study. But the problem with that study was the fact in Denmark the the definition of autism was changed, basically expanding it's criteria. If that wasn't ridiculous enough in the study they also changed the sample group of kids in the middle of the study. Either one of these things should have immediately invalidated the study. If that crazy enough, the guy running these studies for the CDC was a guy called Poul Thorsen, he basically ended up stealing most of the CDC grant money and ended up a wanted international fugitive: https://oig.hhs.gov/fraud/fugitives/poul-thorsen/
