That's a lie. If I applied it to my life it turns out that taxes paid to improve the lives of others, foreign aid, welfare, scholarships, hell even roads and infrastructure to a point, severely interferes with my freedom while bring me no personal gain.
I didn't need that new library built, I have the internet and any book I want to read can be bought. I didn't need that new public swimming pool, I have a private one. I don't need to be forced to pay for veteran retirement facilities, I'm trying to save for my own.
I'm forced to pay 56% of my income to some tax entity or another and maybe, maybe, benefit from about 5% of it. Fuck you justine.
