talked to a colonel vet of both korea and vietnam wars when i was a kid and the guy didnt had a good opinion on the armed forces overall
i was a teen by then and the guy was puerto rican and the vietcong put a bullet literally in his ass. the guy walked really funny but he had pretty sad stories to tell. i dont know why he confided in me all his stories.
he didnt liked communists but he also didnt like the way he was betrayed by his superiors
i will never forget the guy. he left this world in a bitter state
