If you're really read the article you realize it was just an elongated balloon. It was a long cylindrical balloon with metallic strip on the top. And it had something hanging down with the spy package on it. That one picture is just an odd angled that makes it look like it's around UFO looking alien spacecraft but it wasn't anything like that. The picture is not really representative of the shape of it at all.
