Since they're winning or come in second in the 30% tile range what that really means is the other two parties claim they're not going to form a coalition with the afd so the afd will continue to maybe remain mostly powerless. However it does show the growing strength of the ideas and the movement and the need for borders and the anti-immigration sentiment of the German people.

Of course one of the things that happens when you have multiple parties is that no one can win an outright majority and many times several of the different parties actually sort of gang up on the one party that is gaining strength.
